Online PNG to TIFF Converter
Turn your PNGs into TIFFs right in the browser. No upload, no account, no weird watermarks. I built this after a print shop rejected my PNG files for the third time. Saved me so much hassle.(Need reverse conversion? Try our TIFF to PNG → tool instantly)

⚙️ Convert & download
Your images are never uploaded. I hate the thought of random servers hoarding my artwork. This page runs completely on your device — you can even disconnect your internet and it'll still work.
Why I made this online PNG to TIFF converter
Look, I'm not a designer or anything — I just needed a quick way to convert PNG to TIFF online without giving some sketchy site access to my files. Most converters either make you wait in a queue, slap a logo on your image, or ask for an email. I just wanted to drop a file and get a TIFF back. So I coded this.
The whole thing runs right inside your browser. It grabs the pixels from your PNG, repacks them into a TIFF using some JavaScript magic, and then hands you the file. No server involved. That also means it's crazy fast — I've thrown in a 20 MB screenshot and gotten the TIFF in a couple seconds on my laptop.
I mostly use it for printing — local print shops are weirdly picky about TIFFs. But it's also handy if you're archiving stuff or just need a free online PNG to TIFF converter that doesn't treat you like a product. The output keeps your resolution and transparency, which is a bigger deal than you'd think.
What makes this TIFF converter different
🔏 No Uploads, Period
Your PNG stays on your machine the whole time. I can't see it, my server can't see it — nobody can. It's as private as opening a file in Paint.
🎯 Pixel‑Perfect Output
I made sure the TIFF comes out exactly the same size and clarity as your PNG. No weird resizing, no blurriness. I tested it side‑by‑side with Photoshop.
⚡ Blazing Fast
Since it's all local, you skip the upload step entirely. I hate waiting for progress bars — with this you just pick a file and click, boom, done.
💸 Forever Free
I'm not charging for something that should just work. No daily limits, no "pro" upgrade, no begging for donations. Use it as much as you need.
Stuff people ask about the converter
Can I convert multiple PNGs at once?
Right now it's one at a time. I thought about adding batch, but most folks just zip through a few quick conversions. Maybe later if enough people ask.
Does the TIFF keep transparency?
Yep, if your PNG had an alpha channel, the TIFF will too. I converted a logo once with a transparent background and it printed perfectly on letterhead.
Is this really a free online converter?
Completely free. I don't even have a way to charge you — there's no account system, no payment, nothing. I just wanted an online PNG to TIFF tool I could trust myself.
What's the file size limit?
30 MB. That's a pretty big PNG honestly. Anything larger and your browser might choke — but if you've got a massive file, you can always downscale it first.
Why can't I preview the TIFF?
Browsers don't support TIFF previews natively. It's a bit annoying, but once you download the file and open it in Photoshop or Preview, it looks exactly like the original.
What compression does it use?
I went with LZW compression — it's lossless, so no quality gets thrown away. The file size might be a bit bigger than ZIP, but it's universally compatible.
